Background:
As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Equipment Management, you will drive process harmonization by defining, designing, and deploying future ERP solutions based on SAP S/4 HANA and other cloud/on-premise technology platforms, serving as the backbone of our Equipment platform (ASPIRE). This program aims to enable simplified, standardized, and harmonized global business processes for Equipment Management within the ION.
In your role as the SME and local Change requester for cross-site Equipment Management, you will be responsible for supporting, preparing, and ensuring readiness of the global Plan to Retire Fixed Assets (P2RFA) template and related functions at the sites. You will collaborate closely with multiple functions across the sites, maintaining a customer-centric mindset.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Manage equipment, including the creation and maintenance of EQ master data, status updates, and support for partner functions regarding calibration and maintenance requests.
- Monitor maintenance and calibration orders, review certificates, and create non-conformity reports in case of deviations.
- Drive preparation activities for data migration load cycles in close collaboration with local Equipment Management partners.
- Create test case scenarios through cross-functional collaboration with departments and experts across the ION network to ensure comprehensive end-to-end testing of Equipment Management processes.
- Review and provide input on process changes, gaining an understanding of impacts and risks to the business and compliance, while ensuring final alignment at both global and local levels.
- Identify training needs and proactively create training materials for Equipment owners and Managers.
- Support the Maintenance team regarding the transition of Mobile Maintenance into Aspire, including cost- and time-optimized analysis of internal and external calibrations and maintenance.
Must Haves:
- Technical background with significant experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in diagnostics, with a strong focus on process development.
- Extensive (minimum 5 years) understanding of processes, master data, data coherence, system landscapes, integrations, and acknowledged expertise in Plant Maintenance / Plan to Retire Fixed Assets.
- Conceptual, analytical, and solution-oriented thinking combined with a high degree of teamwork.
- Knowledge of regulated industry practices (GxP standards) for product and process compliance and sustainability.
- Experience in a project environment, familiar with matrix structures, and possessing excellent networking skills.
- Proficiency in SAP (PM), Trello, HP-ALM, and G Suite.
- Proficient English language skills.
