Roche Switzerland bridges the gap between pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, hosting critical research and development functions. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our esteemed client, Roche Diagnostics International AG, in Rotkreuz as an Equipment Management Lead (80%).
Background
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Equipment Management, you will play a pivotal role in driving process harmonization. You will be responsible for defining, designing, and deploying a future ERP solution based on SAP S/4 HANA and other cloud/on-premise technology platforms, forming the backbone of our future Equipment platform (ASPIRE). This program aims to create simplified, standardized, and harmonized global business processes for Equipment Management within the Integrated Operations Network (ION).
You will act as the SME and local Change requester for cross-site Equipment Management, supporting the preparation and readiness of the global P2RFA (Plan to Retire Fixed Assets) template and related functions at various sites. Close collaboration across multiple functions with a customer-centric mindset is key to this role.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage equipment, including the creation and maintenance of EQ master data, status management, and supporting partner functions for calibration and maintenance requests.
- Monitor maintenance and calibration orders, review certificates, and create non-conformity reports in case of deviations.
- Drive preparation activities for data migration load cycles in collaboration with local Equipment Management partners.
- Create test case scenarios through cross-functional collaboration with departments and experts across the ION network to ensure comprehensive end-to-end testing of Equipment Management processes.
- Review and provide input on process changes, understanding their impact and risk to the business and compliance, ensuring final alignment at both global and local levels.
- Identify training needs and proactively create training materials for Equipment owners and managers.
- Support the transition of mobile maintenance into ASPIRE, conducting cost- and time-optimized analyses of internal and external calibrations and maintenance.
Must Haves
- Technical background with extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in diagnostics, and a strong focus on process development.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with a robust understanding of processes, master data, data coherence, system landscapes, integrations, and recognized expertise in Plant Maintenance / Plan to Retire Fixed Assets.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and solution-oriented thinking, coupled with a high degree of teamwork.
- Knowledge of regulated industry practices (GxP Standards) for product and process compliance and sustainment.
- Experience in a project environment, familiarity with matrix structures, and excellent networking skills.
- Proficiency in SAP (PM), Trello, HP-ALM, and gSuite.
- Proficient English language skills.
