Project Background

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on, and organized Entrepreneurship & Community Coordinator to play a vital role in the execution of initiatives within our Entrepreneurship team. This position is essential for implementing activities, including partnerships with VCs and service providers, that support our growing community of affiliated startups. This role involves actively organizing events, onboarding startups, and managing community programs. You will help shape the future of AI entrepreneurship by translating strategic ideas into operational realities.

Job Description

• Take ownership of community building efforts for affiliated startups and entrepreneurial initiatives at the ETH AI Center, including conceptualizing, organizing, and participating in events, and maintaining strong, ongoing connections with founders and partners.
• Operate and manage ongoing programs like the AI Launchpad, ensuring tasks are completed and timelines met while providing full support to participants.
• Identify and engage new potential partners, service providers, and collaborators to add direct value to affiliated startups.
• Actively scout and assess entrepreneurial talent, ensuring alignment with community standards and needs.
• Manage the operational process of onboarding new startups to the ETH AI Center, developing a robust local network to grow the affiliated startup community.
• Plan, organize, and run entrepreneurship contributions at events such as the AI + X Summit and AI House Davos, handling logistics, scheduling, communication, and onsite execution.
• Create and schedule content for digital and social media channels to engage the startup community and promote activities, ensuring smooth execution of events from planning to wrap-up.

Profile

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset.
• Proven ability and motivation to independently set up and manage projects.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong communication capabilities for effective interaction with partners and affiliated startups.
• Hands-on experience in a startup or startup ecosystem (a plus).
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Swiss startup ecosystem (preferred but not required).
