Role Description
We are currently seeking an accomplished and visionary Enterprise Architect / CTO to join our team in the Zürich office. This full-time, on-site position will be pivotal in driving large-scale, complex digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will possess deep technical expertise and strategic leadership skills to design, architect, and govern robust solutions within the Microsoft Azure, Dataverse, and Power Platform ecosystem.
As a trusted technical advisor to C-suite stakeholders, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and cutting-edge technical implementation, mentoring cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include analyzing business requirements, defining system requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, creating technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment across architecture domains, and guiding teams through solution delivery. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for process improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Solution Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end, scalable, and secure technical architectures using the full Microsoft stack (Azure services, Dataverse, Power Platform).
- Technical Leadership & Governance: Provide technical governance and oversight for onshore and offshore development teams. Enforce best practices for development, conduct rigorous code reviews, and ensure adherence to mature Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and DevOps methodologies (CI/CD).
- Complex Development & Integration: Oversee the development of complex server-side and client-side customizations and architect robust integrations with external systems/IoT utilizing Azure AI Services.
- Advisory & Pre-Sales Support: Serve as the primary technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) during pre-sales cycles and client workshops, conducting technical demos, defining scope, and contributing to proposal development.
- Risk & Performance Management: Own technical project risks and issues, manage technical debt, and conduct high-level performance tuning and optimization for large-scale enterprise applications using Azure Monitor services.
- Mentorship & Innovation: Mentor senior and junior technical resources, defining training needs and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement across the practice.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of proven, hands-on experience in Azure cloud, Microsoft Dataverse implementation, development, and support.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Microsoft Low code models, with experience in Dataverse schema design, security models, and cloud security principles (Azure AD B2C Authentication).
- Platform Mastery: In-depth knowledge of the entire Microsoft Power Platform and extensive experience with relevant Azure AI Services.
- Certifications: Azure, Dynamics 365 + Power Platform certifications are highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related computational discipline.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for C-suite stakeholders.
- Knowledge of FHIR: Familiarity with healthcare systems is an advantage.
