Role Description
We are excited to invite applications for a full-time, on-site position for an Enterprise Architect based in our Zürich office. We are looking for an accomplished and visionary Enterprise Architect / CTO to steer large-scale, complex digital transformation initiatives. This pivotal role demands deep technical expertise and strategic leadership to design, architect, and govern robust solutions within the Microsoft Azure, Dataverse, and Power Platform ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted technical advisor to C-suite stakeholders, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and cutting-edge technical implementation while mentoring cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. Key tasks include analyzing business requirements, defining system needs, collaborating with stakeholders, creating technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment across architecture domains, and guiding teams through solution delivery. Additionally, this role encompasses identifying opportunities for process improvement and guaranteeing compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Solution Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end, scalable, and secure technical architectures using the full Microsoft stack (Azure services, Dataverse, Power Platform).
- Technical Leadership & Governance: Provide technical governance and oversight for onshore and offshore development teams. Enforce best practices for development, conduct rigorous code reviews, and ensure adherence to mature Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and DevOps methodologies (CI/CD).
- Complex Development & Integration: Oversee the development of intricate server-side and client-side customizations, architecting robust integrations with external systems/IOT using Azure AI Services.
- Advisory & Pre-Sales Support: Act as the primary technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) during pre-sales cycles and client workshops, conducting technical demonstrations, defining scope, and contributing to proposal development.
- Risk & Performance Management: Own technical project risks and issues, manage technical debt, and conduct high-level performance tuning and optimization for large-scale enterprise applications utilizing Azure Monitor services.
- Mentorship & Innovation: Mentor senior and junior technical resources, identifying training needs, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement across the practice.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of proven, hands-on experience in Azure cloud, Microsoft Dataverse implementation, development, and support.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Microsoft Low code models. Knowledge of Dataverse schema design, security models, and cloud security principles (Azure AD B2C Authentication).
- Platform Mastery: Extensive knowledge of the entire Microsoft Power Platform and significant experience with relevant Azure AI Services.
- Certifications: Azure, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform certifications are highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related computational discipline.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for C-suite stakeholders.
- Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with FHIR / healthcare systems is an advantage.
