About the Role

Ideal candidates will approach the teaching and learning of English language and performing arts with rigor and inclusivity. You should possess a robust background in English language teaching for both native speakers and English language learners, alongside expertise in performing arts. Engaging students through dynamic texts and collaborating on all aspects of dramatic and musical productions will be key components of your role.

We seek practitioners experienced in or pedagogically aligned with the IB approach and who demonstrate a professional commitment to a student-initiated and inquiry-led methodology.

We are seeking teachers who:

• Hold qualifications indicating they are an English language and performing arts teacher with at least five years of teaching experience and a minimum bachelor's degree.
• Possess significant expertise in teaching English Language and Literature (English A) and English Language Acquisition (English B) to both native and non-native speakers.
• Are dedicated to creating an engaging performing arts program.
• Promote a well-organized, inspiring, and inquiry-led learning environment.
• Exhibit enthusiasm and demonstrate a positive, empathetic approach toward students, colleagues, and the broader community.
• Embrace an internationally-minded perspective aligned with the IB philosophy.
• Utilize technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences for better student outcomes.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and improvement.
• Engage with and contribute to the full life of the school.
