Success in this position requires a blend of management and technical skills, coupled with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment—navigating from high-level strategic roadmaps and architecture to detailed implementation. We are looking for an outcomes-oriented professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a high-performing engineering team by attracting and retaining top talent, facilitating onboarding, coaching, performance improvement, and career advancement for engineers.
- Drive and direct engineering processes, architecture, and technical roadmaps in alignment with the engineering management team.
- Oversee technical debt, security, quality, and technical decisions in a proficient and structured manner.
- Advocate for and continuously enhance our agile methodologies for software development, ensuring our product is built iteratively and efficiently.
- Instill Nexthink values as the foundation for your team.
- Collaborate with Product Management and UX teams to draft user stories, develop an effective product roadmap leveraging your technical insights, and ensure seamless collaboration with engineers from discovery to delivery.
- Ensure coordination and alignment across different agile teams located in various regions, as well as with cross-department teams such as Marketing, Sales, HR, and Customer Success.
- Contribute technically within the team as needed, leveraging your experience in architectural decisions, code reviews, prototypes, and maintaining the codebase.
- Take ownership of issues end-to-end, manage complexity, and engage directly with stakeholders to understand and mitigate any business impact.
- Foster a culture of integrity, mutual respect, and collaborative decision-making.
