Your Role
As an Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in guiding one of our engineering teams at the core of Nexthink’s solution. Success in this role requires a unique combination of management and technical expertise, along with the agility to thrive in a dynamic environment—from strategic vision and architecture to executional details. We are looking for a results-oriented professional.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture a high-performing engineering team by attracting and retaining top talent, facilitating onboarding, coaching, and guiding performance improvement and career progression for team members.
- Direct and optimize engineering processes, architecture, and technical roadmaps within your team in alignment with the Engineering management team.
- Oversee technical debt, security, quality, and technical decision-making proficiently and in a structured manner.
- Champion and continuously enhance agile methodologies within software development to iteratively and leanly build our product.
- Instill Nexthink values as the foundation for your team’s culture.
- Collaborate with Product Management and UX teams to write user stories, develop an effective product roadmap with your technical insights, and ensure seamless coordination with engineers from discovery through delivery.
- Ensure full alignment and coordination among different agile teams across multiple locations, as well as facilitate cross-department collaboration with Marketing, Sales, HR, and Customer Success.
- Contribute technically as needed, leveraging your experience in architectural decisions, code reviews, prototypes, and codebase management.
- Take ownership of problems from end to end, manage complexity, and engage directly with stakeholders to minimize any impacts on the business.
- Foster a culture of integrity, mutual respect, and collaborative decision-making across the team.
