Are you a detail-oriented Commissioning & Qualification Engineer with a passion for HVAC systems in GMP-regulated environments? We’re seeking a CQ Engineer to join Techfirm Industrial Services on an innovative biopharmaceutical project. Contribute your technical expertise to ensure world-class, compliant HVAC operations within a state-of-the-art facility.
Your Role
As a CQ Engineer – HVAC, your key responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end execution of Commissioning, Qualification & Verification (CQV) for HVAC and related systems, including system boundary definition, DQ, IQ, OQ, and release to operations
- Preparation, execution, and approval of protocol documentation per cGMP and project procedures
- Conducting GMP risk assessments (GMP-RAs)
- Supervising and coordinating vendors, ensuring quality and timeline adherence during system commissioning
- Supporting design qualification across direct impact systems
- Participating in installation commissioning and interface management activities
- Ensuring meticulous documentation using COMOS, KNEAT, or similar platforms
- Collaborating with project, engineering, and operations teams for smooth handovers
- Providing proactive troubleshooting and problem-solving support
- Willingness to work in shifts as needed by the project phase
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Engineering
- 3+ years experience in commissioning & qualification (CQ/V) of HVAC systems, ideally in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or regulated industries
- Solid knowledge of DQ, IQ, OQ processes and regulatory requirements (cGMP)
- Familiarity with DeltaV (Emerson) and control systems
- Experience with COMOS/KNEAT or equivalent documentation tools
- Strong problem solver, comfortable working independently and meeting project deliverables
- Fluent in English (written & spoken); German is a plus
- Ability to support other C&Q activities if required
