Your Role
As an Engine Service Engineer, you will:
- Play a crucial role by managing all technical aspects of CFM56 and PW4000 engine shop visits in the Quick Turn Line.
- Act as the interface between the customer, the shop floor, and the OEM, offering recommendations and the best suitable solutions to customers.
- Ensure a customer-centric approach whereby all activities meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and punctuality.
Your Tasks
- Define and implement engine work scopes in agreement with the customer.
- Optimize work scopes regarding performance, reliability, shop visit costs, and turnaround time.
- Ensure efficient and correct modification management during engine maintenance.
- Define and improve the technical standard and maintenance concept of engines and engine components.
- Assess and incorporate OEM technical data into work procedures to achieve product improvements in terms of performance, reliability, shop visit cost, and turnaround time (TAT).
- Execute damage event investigations and issue investigation reports.
- Interact with OEMs to improve the repairability and reliability of engine parts and components.
- Create and revise operational work documents, task lists, and measurement sheets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external instructions and regulations (e.g., MOE, EASA Part 145).
- Achieve set objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, product, and customer support.
Your Profile
- Academic diploma or degree, such as ETH, BSc, FH, or HF.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Aviation MRO and/or manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English (Level C2); German is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
