Your Role

As a Mechanic Engine Inspection (Incoming / Outgoing), you will:

  • Prepare Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56 engines for maintenance, including unwrapping and de-preservation.
  • Handle Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56 engines between ship stands, pedestals, and trailers in accordance with the manufacturer's manuals.
  • Perform incoming inspections of Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56 engines as outlined in the manufacturer's manuals, and report findings to engineering.
  • Conduct outgoing inspections of Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56 engines in line with the manufacturer's manuals, and initiate corrective actions as required.
  • Document installed engine components using the Vocollect System.
  • Execute tasks in a timely manner while maintaining self-control over performed orders.
  • Document activities in accordance with regulations.
  • Continuously improve executed processes to enhance quality and reduce production costs.

Your Profile

  • Completed technical vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (Polymechanics, machine mechanics, automobile mechanics, or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel for field assistance, if required.
  • Availability to work in two shifts.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Independent, precise, and responsible work ethic.
  • Open-minded, dedicated team player.
  • High awareness of safety, quality, and cost aspects.
  • Proficient in MS Office and possess SAP experience.
  • German and English language proficiency (Level B1).
