Your Role: Mechanic Engine Inspection (Incoming/Outgoing)

Join our team as a Mechanic in Engine Inspection and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of aircraft engines. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56 engines for maintenance, including unwrapping and de-preservation.
  • Handling of Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56 engines between ship stands, pedestals, and trailers in accordance with the manufacturer's manuals.
  • Performing incoming inspections of Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56 engines as per the manufacturer's manuals and reporting findings to engineering.
  • Conducting outgoing inspections of Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56 engines according to the manufacturer's manuals and initiating corrective actions if needed.
  • Documenting installed engine components using the Vocollect System.
  • Executing tasks in a timely manner and maintaining self-control over performed orders.
  • Documenting activities assigned in accordance with regulations.
  • Continuously improving executed processes to enhance quality and reduce production costs.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Completed technical vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (Polymechanics, machine mechanics, automobile mechanics, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Willingness to travel for field assistance as required.
  • Flexibility to work in two shifts.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, precisely, and responsibly.
  • Open-minded attitude and dedication as a team player.
  • High awareness of safety, quality, and cost considerations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
  • Fluency in German and English (Level B1).
