Position: Energy/Ags Commodity Trader/PM
We are seeking an Energy/Ags Commodity Trader/PM to support and enhance the fund’s execution and investment strategy. This position will play a crucial role in the fund’s growth strategy, collaborating closely with the strategy’s Managing Partner, a team of research analysts, and a senior data scientist.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution of futures and options trades in the Energy and Agricultural sectors;
- Trade idea generation in collaboration with our fundamental analysts and data scientist;
- Portfolio rebalancing and risk management;
- Macroeconomic and sector research.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least seven years of experience in commodity trading, specifically in Energy and/or Agriculture;
- Proficiency in risk management tools;
- Experience in option valuation and trading;
- Ability to adjust portfolio sizes in response to capital flows;
- Experience with trading arbitrage opportunities;
- A team-oriented attitude;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Capability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and constantly changing environment;
- A thorough understanding of research techniques;
- Ability to document and present results clearly and coherently, both in writing and verbally;
- A high sense of quality and urgency;
- Outstanding interpersonal skills;
- Excellent business English.
