Position Overview
We are currently seeking an Energy/Agricultural Commodity Trader/Portfolio Manager to support and enhance our fund’s execution and investment strategy. This role is crucial for driving the fund’s growth strategy and involves close collaboration with the strategy's Managing Partner, as well as a team of research analysts and a senior data scientist.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution of futures and options trades in the Energy and Agricultural sectors;
- Generating trade ideas in partnership with our fundamental analysts and data scientist;
- Portfolio rebalancing and effective risk management;
- Conducting macroeconomic and sector research.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least seven years of experience in commodity trading, specifically in Energy and/or Agriculture;
- Proficiency with risk management tools;
- Experience in options valuation and trading;
- Ability to adjust portfolio sizes based on capital flows;
- Track record of trading arbitrage opportunities;
- Team-oriented with excellent analytical skills;
- Capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
- A deep understanding of research techniques;
- Strong documentation and presentation skills, both written and verbal;
- A high sense of quality and urgency;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills;
- Fluency in business English.
