Position Overview
We are seeking an Energy/Agricultural Commodity Trader/Portfolio Manager to support and enhance the fund’s execution and investment strategy. This role is crucial to our growth strategy, and the selected candidate will collaborate closely with the strategy’s Managing Partner, a team of research analysts, and one senior data scientist.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution of futures and options trades in the Energy and Agricultural sectors.
- Trade idea generation in collaboration with our fundamental analysts and data scientist.
- Portfolio rebalancing and effective risk management.
- Conducting macroeconomic and sector research.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of seven years of experience in commodity trading, specifically in Energy and/or Agriculture.
- Proficient knowledge of risk management tools.
- Experience in options valuation and trading.
- Capability to adjust portfolio sizes based on capital flows.
- Experience in trading arbitrage opportunities.
- A collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Thorough understanding of research techniques.
- Ability to document and present results clearly and coherently, both in writing and verbally.
- A high sense of quality and urgency.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Excellent proficiency in business English.
