Position Overview
We are seeking an Energy/Agricultural Commodity Trader/Portfolio Manager to support and enhance the fund’s execution and investment strategy. This individual will play a crucial role in the fund’s growth and will work closely with the Managing Partner of the strategy, as well as a team of research analysts and a senior data scientist.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution of futures and options trades in the Energy and Agricultural sectors.
- Generation of trade ideas in collaboration with our fundamental analysts and data scientist.
- Portfolio rebalancing and risk management.
- Conducting macroeconomic and sector research.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of seven years of experience in commodity trading, specifically in Energy and/or Agriculture.
- Proficient knowledge of risk management tools.
- Experience in options valuation and trading.
- Ability to adjust portfolio sizes based on capital flows.
- Experience identifying trading arbitrage opportunities.
- A team-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Strong prioritization skills in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and constantly changing environment.
- A thorough understanding of research techniques.
- Capability to clearly and coherently document and present results, both in written and verbal form.
- A high sense of quality and urgency.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in business English.
