Your Role

We are currently seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the development and optimization of our next-generation monitoring devices. In this role, you will work closely with our R&D teams to design, implement, and test software running on embedded platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain firmware for microcontrollers (C/C++).
  • Implement and optimize signal processing and analog sensor data acquisition routines.
  • Design communication interfaces between embedded systems and cloud or desktop applications.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to improve system performance and reliability.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with sensor integration and real-world signal acquisition.
  • Proficient in Git and unit testing; a good understanding of coding best practices and standards.
  • Understanding of analog signal conditioning (filters, amplification, noise).
  • Hands-on experience with ADC/DAC systems and sampling strategies.
  • Ability to optimize signal quality from acquisition to digital processing.
  • Solid experience with embedded C/C++ development (PIC & STM platforms).
  • Knowledge of signal processing methods (e.g., filtering, FFT, feature extraction) is an advantage.
  • Experience with higher-level interfaces such as BT/BLE and WiFi is a plus.
  • A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset, particularly interested in biomedical or sensor applications.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German is an asset.
