EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER BIOTECH DEVICES

Join our Biotech department, where you will design and develop embedded software for our new Biotech products. You will work on products at various phases of our product development, ranging from prototyping to production. In your role, you will gather required information from our System Engineers and technical colleagues to drive and conduct development within our team. Collaborating closely with internal and external industry and technology specialists, you will take ownership of projects and work with team members and external partners to provide solutions based on embedded microcontrollers. Additionally, you will maintain and further develop existing solutions, with documentation and testing being integral to your work.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have an engineering degree (ETH/FH) in informatics (with knowledge in electronics) or electronics (with further education in software/firmware development), or a similar education.
• You possess a few years of experience in application development on embedded microcontroller systems using C++.
• You have experience with MCUs like STM32 or ESP32.
• You are willing to take responsibility for individual projects and accustomed to a structured, pragmatic work approach, aiming for solutions that meet our functional and quality requirements.
• Alongside your solution-oriented professional expertise, you enjoy showcasing innovative thinking.
• You have a passion for understanding and demonstrating complex interrelationships and are an independent, solution-oriented, and analytical team player, equipped with initiative and strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
• A valid work permit is required, and only applications matching the job profile will be considered.
