EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER BIOTECH DEVICES

for our Biotech department.

In this role, you will design and develop embedded software for our new Biotech products, working on projects at various phases of development, from prototyping to production. You will collaborate closely with System Engineers and technical teammates to gather all necessary information and drive the development process within the team. Additionally, you will work alongside internal and external industry and technology specialists, ensuring that your solutions based on embedded microcontrollers meet project requirements. Maintenance and further development of existing solutions will also be part of your responsibilities. Documentation and testing will be integral to your work.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have an engineering degree (ETH/FH) in informatics (with knowledge in electronics) or electronics (with further education in software/firmware development), or a similar qualification.
• You possess a couple of years of experience in application development on embedded microcontroller systems using C++.
• You have a background with MCUs such as STM32 or ESP32.
• You are prepared to take responsibility for individual projects and employ a structured, pragmatic approach to find solutions that meet functional and quality requirements.
• In addition to your solution-oriented professional expertise, you enjoy demonstrating innovative thinking.
• You are enthusiastic about understanding and communicating complex interrelationships, and you are an independent, solution-oriented, and analytical team player with strong initiative and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
