EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER - BIOTECH DEVICES

Join our Biotech department as an Embedded Software Engineer, where you will design and develop embedded software for our new biotech products and contribute to projects at various stages of development, from prototyping to production. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with System Engineers and technical teammates to gather essential information that drives our development efforts. You will work alongside internal and external industry specialists, taking ownership to deliver solutions based on embedded microcontrollers while also overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of existing solutions. Documentation and testing will be integral to your work.

YOUR PROFILE

• You hold an engineering degree (ETH/FH) in informatics (with knowledge of electronics) or electronics (with further education in software/firmware development), or possess a similar qualification.
• You have several years of experience in application development on embedded microcontroller systems using C++.
• You are familiar with microcontroller units (MCUs) such as STM32 or ESP32.
• You are ready to take responsibility for individual projects and are accustomed to a structured, pragmatic work approach to develop solutions that meet our functional and quality requirements.
• In addition to your solution-oriented professional expertise, you embody innovative thinking.
• You are enthusiastic about understanding and demonstrating complex interrelationships and are an independent, solution-oriented, and analytical team player. You possess strong communication skills and high motivation.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
• A valid work permit is required.
