EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER BIOTECH DEVICES

for our Biotech department.

In this role, you will design and develop embedded software for our new Biotech products and work on products at various stages of development, from prototyping to production. You will gather all necessary information from our System Engineers and technical teammates to drive the development process within our team. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with internal and external industry and technology specialists. By taking ownership, you will ensure that solutions based on embedded microcontrollers are effectively provided in partnership with other team members and external partners. Additionally, you will oversee the maintenance and further development of existing solutions. Documentation and testing will be integral parts of your responsibilities.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have an engineering degree (ETH/FH) in informatics (with know-how in electronics) or electronics (with further education in software/firmware development), or a similar qualification.
• You possess several years of experience in application development on embedded microcontroller systems with C++.
• You have experience with MCUs such as STM32 or ESP32.
• You are prepared to take responsibility for individual projects, and your structured, pragmatic work approach allows you to develop solutions that meet our functional and quality requirements.
• Alongside your solution-oriented professional expertise, you are also inclined to demonstrate innovative thinking.
• You enjoy grasping and explaining complex interrelationships, and you are an independent, solution-oriented, and analytical team player, equipped with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of German is a plus.
• A valid work permit is required, and only applications matching the job profile will be considered.
