Electronics Technician / Electronics Technicianess

Verity AG - April 4, 2026

Team & Mission

Verity is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our dynamic Mechatronics team. In this role, you will build, test, and refine the electronic hardware for our current and next-generation indoor drone technology.

Our systems incorporate a diverse range of electrical and mechanical designs, including embedded computers, high-power battery charging, motor control, high-definition optical systems, collision avoidance sensors, and advanced digital and analog circuits. These electronics are seamlessly integrated into precision-engineered plastic and carbon packages to ensure reliability and continuous operation.

As part of our innovative engineering team, you will engage hands-on in the workshop, collaborating closely with engineers to enhance system performance—improving charging speed, optimizing thermal management, and increasing manufacturability. Additionally, you will assist in developing tools and processes that streamline manufacturing, reduce errors, and investigate root causes when components fail. This position is ideal for someone who excels in practical problem-solving and iterative improvement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build and test electrical and mechanical assemblies for prototypes, experiments, and system enhancements.
  • Execute validation procedures to ensure electrical and mechanical components meet performance specifications.
  • Develop manufacturing support equipment and tools that enhance production efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Design and refine test procedures to help the team understand system performance and identify failure modes.
  • Document test findings and technical issues clearly, contributing to the team's continuous improvement cycle.

Your Experience

  • Completed apprenticeship, vocational training, or equivalent qualification in electronics.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience working with electronics hardware.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and using test equipment, including oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Skilled in PCB assembly and soldering techniques.
  • Comfortable working autonomously with software tools to conduct tests and analyze results.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); experience with 3D printing is a strong plus.

Who You Are

You are a reliable and collaborative team player who enjoys engaging with both people and hardware. Your positive attitude contributes to a thriving atmosphere, and your strong sense of ownership and curiosity will be valued by our talented team.

What We Offer

  • A collaborative engineering culture built on flat hierarchies, open communication, and mutual trust, where shared responsibility means we succeed together.
  • An experienced, high-achieving team with genuine opportunities for career growth as the company evolves.
  • Flexible working hours—set your schedule around your life, whether it's school pickup, marathon training, or walking the dog.
  • 25 days of annual leave, an employee stock ownership plan (conditions apply), pension options, and relocation support.
  • Structured onboarding with a dedicated buddy to assist you during your first month.
  • Regular team events, game nights, and social gatherings.
  • A dog-friendly office equipped with all the essentials (fresh fruit, coffee, snacks, table tennis, and foosball).
