Job Opportunity: Field Service Technician

We are seeking a dedicated individual fluent in Dutch, ideally residing in the Randstad area, for an engaging role that is anything but standard.

About the Role

In this position, you will work with high-quality machines that are thoughtfully designed and built right here in the Netherlands. This is not a mass production role; instead, you will be involved in intricate engineering, where the challenges are as rewarding as they are complex.

Your day begins in your service van, heading to customer sites where technical issues have arisen. Here, your expertise truly comes into play. You will troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and carry out overhauls on-site. The technology you’ll encounter varies widely, from mechanical cleaning systems and high-pressure pumps to sophisticated inspection equipment with complex electronics.

Many problems will require thorough analysis and testing; a simple "replace the part and move on" mentality will not suffice. Your role involves comprehending the issue and addressing it at its core. You will operate independently while having support when needed, ultimately taking charge of your own solutions.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in the field, service, or machine construction.
• A solid foundation in electrical engineering/mechatronics; knowledge of hydraulics is a plus.
• Experience with engines (diesel, gasoline, electric) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with pumps or PTO is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
• Fluency in Dutch and capability to work with digital reports.
• Residence in the West Netherlands.
• Willingness to occasionally travel to the main location in Brabant for training.
