Electrical Technician in Research High Voltage Lab (M/F/D)

As a High Voltage Lab Engineer, you will be an integral member of a dynamic team of scientists and technicians dedicated to shaping the future of high voltage technology. How You Will Make an Impact

• Run and maintain state-of-the-art high voltage labs.
• Actively participate in the planning, preparation, and execution of high voltage tests.
• Collaborate closely with a team of scientists and technicians from research.
• Contribute to the definition of safe testing practices in the lab during all phases of the experiments, with support from local HSE partners and the research team.
• Engage with partners in adjacent Hitachi Energy high voltage labs and business units.

What You Will Bring

• Education in electrical engineering, with at least a bachelor's degree (FH).
• Proven experience in lab work, including experimental setup with advanced measurement methods.
• Knowledge of lab-integrated programming using LabView, Matlab, or Python is highly desirable.
• Skills in data analysis are a plus.
• Previous experience in a high voltage lab is advantageous.
• Conversational level in English is required; a good knowledge of German is appreciated.
