ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems weighing up to 500 kilograms. Our company offers industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems tailored for various mission profiles, including Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo.
Your Role
As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be pivotal in the design, integration, and testing of flight control software for our unmanned helicopter systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems are reliable, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.
Main Tasks and Duties
- System Design: Design and develop electrical and electronic systems for unmanned vehicles, including power distribution, sensors, communication systems, and control electronics.
- Integration: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, software, and control systems, ensuring seamless operation.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems and components, including performance evaluations and troubleshooting of issues.
- Component Selection: Research and select appropriate electrical components and subsystems, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, and test plans, to support development and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers and systems engineers to ensure that electrical designs meet overall project objectives and requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and production systems, implementing design improvements as necessary. Take a hands-on approach during troubleshooting.
About You
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in electrical design for unmanned systems, robotics, or aerospace applications is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in circuit design, embedded systems, and familiarity with design software (e.g., Altium, MATLAB). Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, I2C, SPI) is essential.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with high social skills, good analytical capabilities, and excellent technical understanding.
- Language: Proficient in English (oral and written).
