Position: Electrical Systems Engineer
As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, integration, and testing of flight control software for our unmanned helicopter systems. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our systems are reliable, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.
Your Main Responsibilities
- System Design: Design and develop electrical and electronic systems for unmanned vehicles, focusing on power distribution, sensors, communication systems, and control electronics.
- Integration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, software, and control systems, ensuring seamless operation.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of electrical systems and components, encompassing performance evaluations and troubleshooting.
- Component Selection: Research and select appropriate electrical components and subsystems, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, and test plans to support development and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers and systems engineers to ensure that electrical designs align with overall project objectives and requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and production systems, implementing design improvements as necessary. Engage in hands-on troubleshooting.
To Excel in This Role, You Should Have:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience in electrical design for unmanned systems, robotics, or aerospace applications is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in circuit design and embedded systems, along with familiarity with design software (e.g., Altium, MATLAB). Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, I2C, SPI) is essential.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills paired with strong social and analytical abilities, along with a solid technical understanding.
- Language: Good command of the English language (both oral and written).
