ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems weighing up to 500 kilograms. Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will oversee the design, integration, and testing of flight control software for our unmanned helicopter systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our systems are reliable, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.

Main Tasks and Duties

  • System Design: Develop electrical and electronic systems for unmanned vehicles, including power distribution, sensors, communication systems, and control electronics.
  • Integration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate electrical systems with mechanical, software, and control systems.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of electrical systems and components, performing performance evaluations and troubleshooting.
  • Component Selection: Research and choose appropriate electrical components and subsystems that ensure reliability, performance, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, and test plans to support both development and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software and systems engineers to align electrical designs with overarching project goals and requirements.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and production systems, implementing necessary design improvements. Take a hands-on approach during troubleshooting.

Qualifications That Will Impress Us

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in electrical design for unmanned systems, robotics, or aerospace applications is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in circuit design, embedded systems, and familiarity with design software (e.g., Altium, MATLAB). Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, I2C, SPI) is essential.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and strong analytical and technical understanding.
  • Language: Proficiency in English (both oral and written).
