Your Mission
At World Gymnastics, coach education plays a crucial role in enhancing performance, ensuring safety, and fostering long-term sport development. Based at our headquarters in Lausanne, this position leads the vision and delivery of global coach education programmes across all disciplines. You will design coherent learning pathways, connect experts and federations, and translate strategy into impactful education both onsite and online. Positioned at the intersection of teaching, innovation, and international collaboration, this role directly influences how coaches learn, progress, and shape the future of gymnastics worldwide.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and manage coach education programmes across all disciplines and levels, including Parkour.
- Plan, organise, and evaluate the global course calendar, across both in-person and online formats.
- Design and maintain pedagogical materials in cooperation with experts and technical committees.
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of educational content on the e-learning platform.
- Serve as the main liaison with Technical Committees, national federations, and course organisers, providing guidance and operational coordination.
- Support national federations in developing or improving their local coaching pathways when required.
- Drive innovation and monitor programme performance, introducing new learning models while tracking participation, certification outcomes, and feedback.
- Coordinate externally funded development projects (IOC, Olympic Solidarity, Continental Unions) and ensure proper governance through commissions, working groups, and structured follow-up.
About You
- University degree in Sport Science, Education, Coaching, International Development, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in coach education, sport development, or programme management within an international or federated sport environment.
- Proven experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating education programmes across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong understanding of learning principles, coach certification frameworks, and training methodologies.
- Solid exposure to digital learning tools, e-learning platforms, and instructional design.
- Excellent project management, intercultural communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Personal integrity and credibility.
- Fluency in English and French (other languages are an asset).
- Valid Swiss working permit.
