The employer is looking for a:

Manager / Senior Manager (all genders) - IFRS and Corporate Reporting Centre of Excellence, National Audit

Job reference: 23618 (recommended role)

Responsibilities:

• Work within a highly motivated and dynamic team.
• Engage in extensive interaction and consultation with technical accounting partners within Deloitte North and South Europe (NSE), the Deloitte IFRS Global Office, and senior audit managers on complex issues related to accounting and sustainability reporting.
• Take an active role in internal and external presentations and publications regarding IFRS and corporate/sustainability reporting.
• Participate in the audits of annual financial statements for our largest and most complex clients.
• Receive training and development at your own pace.

Requirements:

• Strong technical accounting skills and professional experience in applying and interpreting IFRS standards, preferably gained within a technical accounting team or related to accounting policies.
• A keen interest in learning about and applying new sustainability standards.
• A quality-oriented mindset with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
• A positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Confident communication skills in English, with knowledge of German being an advantage.
• The ability to draft and present results clearly and concisely in English.
