Your Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality research in the field of strategic communication.
- Complete a dissertation within four years.
- Attend academic conferences and publish in leading academic journals.
- Collaborate in existing projects and develop new initiatives with the team - Strategic Communication & Media Management.
- Research and teach in innovative areas of strategic communication and adjacent fields.
- Teach one class per semester that aligns with your research interests in our BA programs.
- Engage in further academic qualifications.
- Handle organizational and administrative tasks.
Your Profile
- Excellent Master's degree in Communication Science or related fields.
- Strong interest in strategic communication and related disciplines such as organizational communication, corporate communication, public relations, or investor relations.
- High affinity for topics like artificial intelligence, sustainability, management, strategy, public affairs, finance, or similar areas.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis (e.g., content analysis, surveys, experiments, interviews); initial experience in computational methods is a plus.
- Proficient in R and/or Python.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
- A scientific and open mindset, with a careful and reliable work ethic, capability to work independently, and a strong tendency for collaborative efforts along with excellent time and project management skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Zurich and travel internationally to engage with relevant scientific communities.
