Your Responsibilities

The successful applicant will collaborate with Prof. Klaus Oberauer on a project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation titled Modeling Visual Working Memory. The project aims to understand the workings of visual working memory through behavioral experiments and computational modeling.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A MSc or equivalent in Psychology or a related discipline (preferably from a Bologna-compatible 2-year MSc program)
  • Experience with experimental research
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in research methods
  • Interest in pursuing an academic career in cognitive psychology
  • Very good command of English (written and oral)

In addition, it would be beneficial if you have:

  • Programming skills (R, Matlab, Python, JavaScript, HTML)
  • Experience with mathematical/computational modeling
  • Experience with Bayesian statistics
