Your Responsibilities

The successful applicant will collaborate with Prof. Klaus Oberauer on a project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation, titled "Modeling Visual Working Memory." The project's goal is to gain insights into the functioning of visual working memory through behavioral experiments and computational modeling.

Your Profile

  • MSc or equivalent in Psychology or a related discipline (preferably from a Bologna-compatible 2-year MSc program)
  • Experience with experimental research
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in research methods
  • Interest in pursuing an academic career in cognitive psychology
  • Very good command of English (written and oral)

Desired Qualifications

  • Programming skills (R, Matlab, Python, JavaScript, HTML)
  • Experience in mathematical/computational modeling
  • Experience with Bayesian statistics
