Position: Telemedicine Physician (Home Office) focusing on Weekend Shifts

• Workload: 50-80%
• Location: Home Office in Switzerland or Germany, or in our offices in Allschwil/Basel

As a telemedicine physician at Medgate, you will receive extensive training in telemedicine, utilizing medical guidelines tailored for remote treatment. Our advanced patient management system, which incorporates artificial intelligence, reduces administrative burdens, allowing you to focus more on patient care.

• Independently treat patients of Medgate Switzerland through various communication channels including phone, video, or chat.
• Utilize our telemedicine guidelines to provide final therapy or triage to physical services, resolving 50% of medical concerns online.
• A flexible workload that accommodates your life stage, ranging from 50% to 80% capacity.
• A maximum work week of 42 hours (based on a full workload) allowing you to shape your schedule according to personal and professional needs.
• No overtime hours; extra shifts are available voluntarily for those who wish to take on additional responsibilities.

• Work from home to save travel time, with options available from Germany and Switzerland, as well as office locations in Basel/Allschwil and Chiasso.

Your Profile

• You are a qualified doctor with a completed medical degree and specialist title in General Internal Medicine, or have at least 2 years of experience in general medicine. If you possess MEBEKO recognition, that’s a plus; if not, we are happy to assist you.
• You thrive in a modern working environment characterized by flat hierarchies and a personal approach to colleagues.
• You are digitally savvy and excited about technology, viewing the computer as a vital colleague in enhancing patient connections and reducing administrative strain.
• You excel in communication and listening skills, developing a comprehensive understanding of patients through focused inquiries.
• You possess very good German language skills, as well as additional language abilities in Italian, French, or English, which are preferred.
• You appreciate structured and independent work. With 26 years of perfected telemedicine practice, we will guide you in achieving optimal treatment outcomes without requiring the use of pre-prepared questionnaires or navigating decision trees.
