Position: Doctor in Home Office (Weekend Shifts) (m/f/d)

• Work location: Home Office in Switzerland or Germany, or in our offices located in Allschwil/Basel

As a remote care provider at Medgate, you will receive thorough training in telemedicine. Our medical guidelines are tailored for telemedicine needs and have been meticulously refined over the years for effective remote treatment. Additionally, our patient management system leverages artificial intelligence to aid in treatment, reducing administrative burdens so that you can focus on patient care.

• Independent patient care primarily on weekends via phone, video, or chat.
• Supportive telemedicine guidelines for therapy finalization or triage to physical service providers; we manage 50% of all medical concerns.
• Flexible workload that aligns with your life stage, with shifts ranging from 50 to 80%.
• Work week limited to 42 hours at 100% workload, allowing you to tailor your schedule according to personal preferences.
• No overtime; additional shifts are voluntary for colleagues who wish to cover extra needs.
• Minimum of 5 weeks of paid vacation, along with attractive compensation and bonuses.
• Opportunity to work from home, eliminating commute times: remote work from Germany and Switzerland is supported.

Your Profile

• You are a qualified doctor with completed medical studies and a specialist title in General Internal Medicine, or possess at least 2 years of experience in general medicine. If you have MEBEKO recognition, that’s a plus; if not, we are happy to assist you in obtaining it.
• You thrive in a modern working environment characterized by flat hierarchies and a casual atmosphere.
• You are digitally savvy and enthusiastic about technology, viewing the computer as a collaborative tool that enriches patient connection and streamlines administrative tasks.
• Your strong communication and listening skills enable you to understand patient needs effectively, as telemedicine relies heavily on clear verbal interactions.
• Proficiency in German is required, and additional language skills in Italian, French, or English are advantageous.
• You enjoy structured and independent work; we have honed our telemedicine practices over 26 years and are eager to share our expertise with you.
