Your Responsibilities

The successful applicant will collaborate with Prof. Klaus Oberauer on a project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation entitled Modeling Visual Working Memory. The primary goal of the project is to explore the workings of visual working memory through behavioral experiments and computational modeling.

Your Profile

  • A MSc or equivalent in Psychology or a related discipline (preferably from a Bologna-compatible 2-year MSc program)
  • Experience with experimental research
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in research methods
  • A keen interest in pursuing an academic career in cognitive psychology
  • Very good command of English (both written and oral)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Programming skills in R, Matlab, Python, JavaScript, or HTML
  • Experience with mathematical or computational modeling
  • Familiarity with Bayesian statistics
