In this exciting new role, you will lead our Retail Marketing team, responsible for weaving our brand's narrative in both our retail stores and with wholesale partners. Your strategic vision and execution of marketing initiatives will play a pivotal role in elevating our brand through compelling storytelling and innovative marketing strategies.
Your Role:
- Develop a high-performing team of retail marketers, fostering a culture of collaboration, coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
- Adopt a strategic, solution-oriented mindset, making informed decisions and resolving conflicts while promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Articulate and amplify the brand story, ensuring consistency across all retail channels (DTC, B2B, and Partners) in alignment with internal marketing strategies.
- Shape On’s retail brand experience by leading the creation of innovative concepts—including programming frameworks, services, formats, campaign activations, and storytelling—that set our brand apart and drive substantial business impact.
- Develop toolkits and guidelines that empower regional retail marketing and brand activation teams to excel in their execution.
- Collaborate effectively with internal partners and department leads to synchronize marketing efforts with overarching company strategies and goals; work together with the Commercial team to align marketing strategies with field objectives.
- Streamline processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our retail brand initiatives.
- Uphold On's visual language and standards while demonstrating a deep appreciation for the brand's aesthetics.
Your Story:
- Over 9 years of progressive experience in retail marketing, consumer experiences, and/or in-store marketing roles, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies and projects.
- 6+ years in leadership positions, demonstrating your ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams—ideally, as part of a Brand Experience Management team.
- A degree in marketing, art/design, and/or communications.
- A true expert in your field, bringing at least 5 years of brand-side experience along with a creative and solution-oriented mindset; agency experience is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing and brand building within the premium or luxury retail sector.
- Strong awareness of marketing best practices and trends, coupled with a keen eye for design and aesthetics that aligns with On's brand identity.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Experience in budget management with a proven track record in end-to-end budget planning, forecasting, and optimization to maximize ROI across global retail initiatives.
- Proficient in digital marketing strategies.
- Proven success in managing agency partnerships and driving results through external collaborations.
- A dynamic individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, adaptable to changing circumstances while driving innovation.
- Effective in leading teams in a highly matrixed environment, both directly and indirectly.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%, based on business needs.
- A positive spirit, guiding and inspiring those around you, seeing yourself as a partner in your teammates’ success.
- Exceptional communication skills, with high proficiency in English.
