The Role of Director of Food and Beverage

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Food and Beverage to join us at The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel in Switzerland!

As a key member of our leadership team, you will report directly to the General Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in overseeing the daily Food and Beverage operations, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and attention.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, managing, and developing our Food and Beverage team.
• Maintaining a visible presence in operations to foster relationships and recognize our guests.
• Collaborating closely with the Executive Chef to plan and develop innovative menus and wine lists.
• Controlling expenses through strategic planning, budgeting, and purchasing decisions.
• Implementing policies and managing inventory control.
• Ensuring that our guests enjoy the highest standards of service excellence.

Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal Director of Food and Beverage candidate will possess:

• A deep passion for upholding the highest standards in Food and Beverage service.
• A wealth of experience in luxury resorts, with a strong focus on team development.
• A creative flair that brings personal energy to all Food and Beverage experiences.
• At least five to seven years of diverse experience in Food and Beverage management roles, preferably including hotel opening experience.
• Fluency in both German and English, along with eligibility to work in the EU.
