The Role of Director of Food and Beverage

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Food and Beverage to join us at The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel in Switzerland!

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a vital role in leading the daily Food and Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service and an attentive approach to our guests.

• Selecting, managing, and developing our Food and Beverage team.
• Being actively present in the operations to recognize our guests and cultivate new relationships.
• Collaborating closely with the Executive Chef to plan and develop innovative menus and wine lists.
• Controlling expenses through effective planning, budgeting, and purchasing decisions.
• Implementing policies and inventory control to maintain high service standards.
• Ensuring our guests experience unparalleled levels of service excellence.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for an ideal candidate who possesses:

• A passion for delivering the highest standards consistently, with a focus on food offerings at the center of guest experience.
• A wealth of experience in Food and Beverage management within luxury resorts.
• A desire to develop team members and infuse creativity into our food and beverage experiences.
• Essential pre-opening experience.
• A minimum of five to seven years in diverse Food and Beverage management roles, ideally with hotel opening experience.
• Fluency in German and English, along with eligibility to work in the EU.
