The Role of Director of Food and Beverage

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Food and Beverage to join The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel in Switzerland!

Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading our daily Food and Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service and attention to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Selecting, managing, and developing the Food and Beverage team.
• Being visible in the operation to recognize and cultivate guest relationships.
• Collaborating closely with the Executive Chef to plan and develop menus and wine lists.
• Controlling expenses through effective planning, budgeting, and purchasing decisions.
• Making policy decisions and managing inventory control.
• Ensuring our guests receive the highest levels of service excellence.

Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal Director of Food and Beverage candidate will have:

• A passion for ensuring you and your team consistently deliver the highest standards of service.
• A wealth of Food and Beverage experience in luxury resorts, with a desire to focus on the development of our team.
• A creative flair, bringing personal energy and touch to all food and beverage experiences.
• Previous pre-opening experience is essential.

We expect candidates to have five to seven years of experience across diverse Food and Beverage management positions, ideally including hotel opening experience. Fluency in both German and English is a requirement for this location, along with eligibility to work within the EU.
