Director of Evidence & Data Strategy / Directress of Evidence & Data Strategy

Novo Nordisk Health Care AG - July 15, 2025

Join Us as Director, Evidence & Data Strategy

Are you ready to drive data-powered impact on a global scale? As our Director of Evidence & Data Strategy, you will lead the development of a focused evidence and data strategy across International Operations.

In this pivotal role, you will identify key evidence gaps, steer Real World Evidence (RWE) programs, and collaborate with global, regional, and local teams to shape smarter decisions in market access, clinical, and commercial arenas. This is your opportunity to transform data into strategy — and strategy into global health impact.

The Position

In this impactful role, you will design and implement a region-specific evidence and data strategy that informs market access, commercial, and clinical decision-making. Working closely with global, regional, and local teams, as well as Data Science and Scientific Communications, you'll help fill critical evidence gaps and unlock the value of real-world data across diverse healthcare markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an evidence and data strategy tailored to International Operations (IO) markets, aligned with global integrated evidence generation plans.
  • Identify and prioritize clinical, economic, and regulatory evidence needs and gaps across IO countries.
  • Guide pre- and post-launch evidence generation to support market access, commercial success, and clinical adoption.
  • Monitor and assess competitors’ real-world evidence strategies to inform proactive planning.
  • Collaborate with RWE teams, Global Data Science, and local stakeholders to guide initiatives, align strategies, and optimize use of in-country data assets.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or Master’s) in a relevant healthcare field preferred (e.g., epidemiology, health economics, public health, biostatistics, data science).
  • At least 5+ years of experience in real-world evidence, HEOR, data strategy, or related roles in pharma or healthcare.
  • Proven ability to lead evidence and data strategy initiatives with a holistic, business-aligned approach.
  • Strong expertise in real-world data sources, with hands-on experience in leveraging RWD for strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with success in global, cross-functional environments.
