Through our grant-making efforts, we contribute to a safer, fairer, and more sustainable world. With offices in Europe, Africa, and North America, we provide support to organizations across approximately 40 countries worldwide.
The Environment Programme is dedicated to safeguarding our future by restoring our connection to nature. With three sub-programmes—Marine Food Systems and Livelihoods, Nature and People, and Regenerative Landscapes—we take a systems change approach to tackle the root causes of societal challenges. Our goal is to enhance the health and resilience of communities and our natural environment.
This integrative approach enables us to recognize the interconnections within various sectors and formulate solutions that deliver multiple social and biodiversity benefits. People and communities are at the heart of our grant-making philosophy, and we emphasize innovation and collaboration in our mission to protect our natural environment for generations to come. Our focus areas encompass efforts in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, particularly those with regional or global impact.
We are currently seeking a Director to lead our Environment Programme and team. This role, based in the Foundation’s Geneva office, will be responsible for the comprehensive leadership of the Environment Programme portfolio and the management of a team of approximately 7 staff members.
