Position: Relationship Manager

The Relationship Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, granting access to the entire suite of wealth management capabilities offered by Deutsche Bank Wealth Management. In this role, you will work closely with Investment Managers to provide exceptional service and holistic client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive relationships with clients to ensure a holistic experience.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and complaints.
  • Build new business by identifying prospects and nurturing existing relationships, focusing on attracting new clients and assets.
  • Manage a portfolio of high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals primarily from the Turkish market.
  • Travel frequently to cultivate relationships and pursue new business opportunities in the region.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of attracting new clients from the Turkish market.
  • Work collaboratively with Investment Managers to enhance client relationships and service offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks while advising clients and staying informed about market initiatives.
  • Identify client lending and financing needs, engaging lending specialists to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to discover potential leads and opportunities.
  • Oversee all AML aspects of client relationships, ensuring timely and thorough KYC processes.
  • Participate in client marketing and social events, contributing to the promotion of our services.
  • Maintain regular reviews and strategic planning to sustain team performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to deliver Deutsche Bank's value proposition effectively.
  • Act within professional and ethical boundaries while adhering to internal and external compliance regulations.

Skills Required

  • Strong detail orientation in both strategy and execution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Superior investment acumen and market knowledge.
  • Good understanding of applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g., RDR, MiFID II).
  • Professional integrity and a proven track record in the Turkish market.
  • Self-starter with the ability to mentor junior staff.
  • CFA, MBA, or other advanced degrees are a plus, alongside 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in English and Turkish required; knowledge of other languages is desirable.
