The Position

As our new Director of Cardiometabolic Marketing, you will play a critical role in defining and executing strategic marketing initiatives across our cardiometabolic portfolio. You will lead with strategic vision, inspire your team, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive marketing excellence and sustained market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine portfolio and brand strategies to align with market needs and business objectives, ensuring each product’s positioning reflects its unique value.
• Translate strategies into impactful marketing campaigns, collaborating across functions to deliver creative, high-quality initiatives that resonate with customers.
• Plan and execute successful new indication launches, coordinating launch activities and campaigns that drive market adoption and brand growth.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities, providing strategic insights that guide decision-making and keep our brands competitive.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the cardiometabolic marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
• Long-term extensive experience in pharmaceutical marketing and/or related areas, including several years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in developing and executing brand and portfolio strategies, leading successful product launches, and conducting comprehensive market analysis.
• Deep understanding of the local market (preferably Swiss market), with the ability to tailor strategies to local needs.
• Strong strategic vision and leadership skills to align brand initiatives with broader organizational goals and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and foster alignment across commercial, medical, market access, and other teams.
• Fluent in German and English, with the adaptability and strategic agility to navigate a dynamic, fast-changing market environment.
