IKEA Supply AG (ISAG) is the wholesale company within the Inter IKEA Group, affiliated with IKEA Supply. We are responsible for managing goods across the IKEA Distribution and Regional Distribution Centers worldwide.

The Tax team at IKEA Supply AG (ISAG) is part of the Business Performance & Support organization. We oversee the tax positions of ISAG and its foreign subsidiaries. Our areas of responsibility include tax advisory, tax risk management (including audits), transfer pricing, ensuring tax compliance, and providing support to the Core Business Supply with tax advice. We are looking for a candidate who can seamlessly integrate into our team and contribute effectively to our diverse operations.

Job Description

The purpose of this role is to ensure accurate and timely direct tax and transfer pricing compliance for non-Swiss IKEA Supply entities across multiple jurisdictions. The position focuses on managing and coordinating compliance deliverables, including tax returns and tax payments, as well as assisting with transfer pricing compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate non-Swiss Corporate Income Tax compliance matters for several non-Swiss IKEA Supply entities, including collecting data for filings, preparing tax returns, and ensuring payments in collaboration with tax advisors and internal stakeholders.
  • Calculate or support the calculation of tax provision schedules and other reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy and alignment with accounting.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation and related compliance tasks.
  • Support during tax audits and provide necessary documentation and analysis.
  • Lead or assist in the Annual Tax Review process for IKEA Supply entities.
  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date documentation of compliance processes and internal controls.
  • Monitor compliance timelines, coordinate with local offices and advisors, and ensure timely completion of filings and payments.
  • Contribute to project-based work involving new market entries, structural changes, or tax reporting improvements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Sound expertise in corporate income tax compliance matters with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience.
  • A background in Accounting or Tax is preferred, as those skills are highly compatible with this role.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and their application in a tax context.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and the ability to work with financial data.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing concepts is advantageous.
