Role Overview
We are an independent Swiss Asset Management Company with a FINMA license as a Portfolio Manager, located in Zug and Ticino. We are excited to offer a challenging role as a Digital Business Analyst within a collaborative team environment.
As a Digital Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in connecting our investment, coverage, and compliance teams with IT, driving efficiency through custom digital tools, innovative reporting solutions, and process automation. Your contributions will ensure that our front-office and back-office workflows remain advanced, user-friendly, and fully compliant, while also providing Russian-language support to our team that serves clients from Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements & Process Mapping: Collaborate with portfolio managers, relationship managers, compliance officers, and operations to document current workflows, identify challenges, and translate needs into clear technical specifications.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (using Power BI or equivalent) to monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and regulatory KPIs.
- Data Integration & Automation: Extract and cleanse data from CRM systems, custodians, and market data feeds (utilizing SQL, Python, or ETL tools); automate regular reporting tasks and conduct data quality checks.
- User Support & Training: Serve as the primary IT liaison for non-technical colleagues; deliver training sessions and documentation for new digital tools and processes.
- Project Coordination: Assist in the end-to-end support of small-to-medium digital transformation projects—planning timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Client Communication: Prepare Russian-language materials for clients (including reports and presentations) and support our coverage team in interactions with Eastern Europe and Central Asia client segments.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years in a business analysis, BI/developer, or process automation role; experience in financial services is a strong plus.
Technical Skills
- Reporting Tools: Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools (including data modeling and DAX).
- Scripting/ETL: Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Familiarity: Knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Slack) and the Office 365 suite, particularly Excel.
Languages
- English: Fluent (verbal and written).
- Russian: Fluent/native (verbal and written).
- Central Asian Languages: Proficiency is a plus.
Interpersonal Skills
