Role Overview
We are an independent Swiss Asset Management Company with a FINMA license as a Portfolio Manager, based in Zug and Ticino. We are excited to offer a challenging role as a Digital Business Analyst within our collaborative team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in bridging our investment, coverage, and compliance teams with IT, driving efficiency through tailored digital tools, reporting solutions, and process automation. Additionally, you will ensure that our front-office and back-office workflows remain cutting-edge, user-friendly, and fully compliant, while also providing Russian-language support to our team that covers client segments from Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements & Process Mapping: Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, relationship managers, compliance officers, and operations to document current workflows, identify pain points, and translate needs into technical specifications.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (Power BI or equivalent) to monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and regulatory KPIs.
- Data Integration & Automation: Extract and cleanse data from CRM, custodians, and market data feeds (using SQL, Python, or ETL tools); automate regular reporting tasks and data quality checks.
- User Support & Training: Act as the first line of IT liaison for non-technical colleagues; deliver training sessions and documentation for new digital tools and processes.
- Project Coordination: Support small-to-medium digital transformation projects end-to-end—planning timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Client Communication: Prepare Russian-language materials for clients (reports, presentations) and provide support to our coverage team in interactions with Eastern Europe and Central Asia client segments.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years in a business analysis, BI/developer, or process automation role; experience in financial services is a strong plus.
Technical Skills
- Reporting tools: Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools (including data modeling and DAX).
- Scripting/ETL: Experience with Python or R, SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Familiarity with: CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Slack) and the Office 365 suite, especially Excel.
Languages
- English: Fluent (verbal & written).
- Russian: Fluent/Native (verbal & written).
- Central Asia languages: Verbal and written proficiency is a plus.
Interpersonal Skills
