Dietitian - Contract Position

Location: Glendale, CA and Baltimore, MD

Are you passionate about helping individuals achieve sustainable weight-loss goals? Join a clinical study where your nutritional expertise can truly make a difference. Proclinical is seeking two Dietitians to support a weight loss drug study involving overweight adults. This exciting study is expected to commence in late August or early September and will accommodate approximately 48 participants.

Primary Responsibilities

The successful candidate will focus on delivering personalized nutrition plans and providing ongoing counseling throughout the 337-day study. One position will be based in Glendale, CA, and the other in Baltimore, MD.

Skills & Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills with sensitivity to participants' needs in a potentially delicate study.
• Ability to provide both in-person and remote support as required.
• Prior clinical research experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver personalized nutrition plans for study participants.
• Provide ongoing counseling and support to participants throughout the study duration.
• Meet with participants every four weeks to review food diaries and monitor progress.
• Offer in-person support, with occasional remote visits as needed.
• Be onsite approximately 13-14 times during the study, with scheduling determined post-enrollment.

Compensation

$50.00 - $460.00 Per Hour
