Job Description

The Platform Engineering area at SMG Real Estate is responsible for the Internal Development Platform that supports other teams in developing, maintaining, and managing our product.

Platform Engineering is composed of two teams: Developer Experience (DevX) and Infrastructure. We are currently seeking a DevX Senior Full Stack Engineer.

As a member of DevX, you will:

• Collaborate with engineers to understand their challenges and enhance their experience.
• Utilize your expertise to help create an optimal development platform for our engineering teams.
• Define processes, frameworks, and best practices for development across the Real Estate business unit.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying product components.
• Assist in automating and implementing "as code" provisioning of the infrastructure that supports product components.

Qualifications

Must-Haves

• A passion for helping engineers enhance productivity and achieve the best possible work experience.
• Strong English communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience with TypeScript.
• 2+ years of experience with Vue.js, particularly version 3.
• 2+ years of experience with Node.js.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in Developer Experience or Platform Engineering.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda.
• Experience with AWS CDK.
• Proficiency in implementing deployment pipelines, especially using GitHub Actions.
• Experience in maintaining component libraries.
