Development Engineer for Pressure Systems (m/f/d)

Join our Pressure Systems R&D team, dedicated to designing and developing critical infrastructure components such as fittings and regulating valves for the safe and efficient transport of potable water from source to point of use. In this position, you will lead the engineering and development of new solutions within the pressure management product range and oversee technical product lifecycle activities, including performance optimization, design enhancements, and issue resolution for assigned components.
Your Tasks:
- Support and continuously improve the existing product range
- Lead and execute small to mid-size projects
- Develop new products based on customer feedback and product specifications, considering function, quality, time, and costs
- Plan and execute test plans, including designing, building, and testing prototypes
- Analyze test data and implement findings in the final product
- Design and develop prototypes using CAD software
Your Profile:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a technical apprenticeship with additional training
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an R&D department, with initial experience in leading projects independently
- A proactive nature with the ability to take initiative and ownership
- Experience working across teams and departments, with the capability to structure and coordinate project teams and various stakeholders
- Good CAD skills (preferably Siemens NX); experience with MATLAB would be an asset
- Affinity for project management
- Professional proficiency in both English and German
