Join our Pressure Systems R&D team, dedicated to designing and developing critical infrastructure components, such as fittings and regulating valves, for the safe and efficient transport of potable water from source to point of use. As a Development Engineer, you will lead the engineering efforts and development of new solutions within our pressure management product range while overseeing technical product lifecycle activities. This includes performance optimization, design enhancements, and resolving issues for assigned components.
Your Tasks:
Support and continuously improve the existing product range.
Lead and execute small to midsize projects.
Develop new products based on customer feedback and product specifications, with considerations for function, quality, time, and costs.
Plan and execute test plans, including designing, building, and testing prototypes.
Analyze test data and implement findings in the final product.
Design and develop prototypes using CAD software.
Your Profile:
A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or a technical apprenticeship with additional training.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in an R&D department, with initial experience in leading projects independently.
A proactive nature with a strong inclination to take initiative and ownership.
Experience working across teams and departments, with the ability to structure and coordinate project teams and various stakeholders.
Good CAD skills (preferably Siemens NX), and familiarity with MATLAB would be an advantage.
Affinity for project management.
Professional proficiency in both English and German.
